Pleibol! is a collaborative event between Julia De Burgos Cultural Arts Center and the Baseball Heritage Museum with support from the City of Cleveland, Cleveland City Council, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Public Library, corporate and other business stake holders. Its purpose is to trace the trajectory of Latinos and African Americans, and the diversity in baseball from the Negro Leagues to Major Leagues. Pleibol! 2017 will take place on September 22nd through the 24th at the historic League Park located in Cleveland’s Hough neighborhood consisting of a private reception with guest speakers and two days of softball games, youth clinics and is open to the community.
