Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center's mission is to build cultural understanding and inclusion among our audiences. We implement our annual festival, the Latino Arts & Culture Celebration of Greater Cleveland during the summer in downtown Cleveland attracting a broad diverse audience with the purpose of educating others about the Latino traditions and folklore. We collaborate with local arts organizations to support diversity in the neighborhoods and schools. We organize educational seminars and workshops on topics of history, culture, and the arts. Our programming includes visual arts, percussion, folkloric and modern Latin dances, cheerleading, and mentoring and leadership classes.
